Hartford, CT — Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) responded to Governor Ned Lamont following his State of the State Address.
AFP Northeast Region Director Ross Connolly said:
“Governor Lamont’s State of the State Address failed to offer long-term solutions with policies that will address Connecticut’s ongoing challenges, such as high taxes and overall expenses. The people of Connecticut deserve a leader who confronts the state’s challenges head-on and who will deliver results, not just rhetoric.
“We call on the Governor and legislature to take on meaningful reforms that will benefit all of Connecticut and position the state’s economy for long-term success. Connecticut needs lasting relief and structural reforms that will ensure the state remains competitive and economically strong, and AFP stands ready to work together with the Governor and lawmakers to deliver results.”
