AFP-WI Statement on the Vice President’s Visit to Madison
Madison, WI – Today, Vice President Kamala Harris and Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su visit Madison to tout the latest Executive Order expanding registered apprenticeship programs. With yet another visit to the Badger State, it’s clear how desperate the administration is to win over Wisconsinites and convince America that it’s horrendous “Bidenomics” agenda is working.
AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak made the following statement:
“The Biden administration’s top-down, anti-freedom agenda is hurting small businesses and hardworking Americans day after day. While Vice President Harris touts policies like the PRO Act that undermine the rights and interests of hardworking Americans and radical spending policies that are driving inflation, Wisconsin families and businesses are still struggling to make ends meet.
“It’s time our elected officials are held accountable for the damage they have caused by supporting these ‘Bidenomics’ policies. AFP-WI is committed to protecting worker freedom in order to promote a competitive economy that allows every individual to achieve their version of the American dream. Wisconsin families deserve better out of Washington.”
