SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Utah (AFP-UT) endorsed Nik Anderson (HD-48) and JR Bird (HD-67) for the state House of Representatives and began voter engagement efforts across their districts ahead of the June 23 primary elections.

AFP-UT State Director Kevin Greene released the following statement:

“As Utah families continue to feel the pressure of rising costs, it’s important that our state leaders stay focused on responsible budgeting and policies that help keep Utah affordable and economically strong. Nik Anderson and JR Bird are principled fiscal conservatives and strong advocates for small businesses who understand the importance of spending carefully and reducing unnecessary regulations that can drive up costs for hardworking Utahns.

We’re excited to support these candidates for the state House and look forward to the leadership they’ll bring from day one. By keeping fiscal responsibility front and center, we can ensure Utah remains a top destination for families, entrepreneurs, and job creators for years to come.”
