Harrisburg, Pa. – Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) on Friday thanked Representatives Scott Perry, Keith Rothfus, Mike Kelly, Brendan Boyle, and Lloyd Smucker for voting against the $1.3 trillion Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018, also known as the “omnibus,” which passed 256-167 in the House and 65-32 in the Senate.
“We didn’t elect our representatives to rubber stamp last-minute, thousands-of-pages-long, trillion-dollar spending bills that kick hard decisions down the road and pile even more debt on our kids,” said AFP-PA State Director Beth Anne Mumford. “Pennsylvanians deserve better stewardship of their tax dollars. We thank Reps Perry, Rothfus, Kelly, Boyle, and Smucker for standing up for better government and voting against this bill.”
