Manchester, New Hampshire—Today the New Hampshire House of Representatives and the State Senate voted to pass SB 295, a bill that would give every Granite State student access to the state’s popular Education Freedom Accounts and empower families to choose the learning environment that best fits their child’s unique needs.

Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) endorsed the bill and issued a Key Vote Alert, urging members to pass the bill.

AFP-NH Deputy State Director Sarah Scott issued the following statement after the House vote:

“On behalf of students and parents in the Granite State, AFP-NH thanks each and every member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and the Senate for voting for this bill. Through their commitment to expanding opportunities for students, New Hampshire has taken the next step toward leading the nation in education freedom.

“Thanks to the work of House and Senate leadership as well as bill sponsors Sen. Victoria Sullivan and Rep. Valerie McDonnell we will make EFA’s universal before the start of the next school year. We look forward to Governor Ayotte’s quick signage of this bill  so that every student in the state has the access they need to get the education that best fits their needs.”
