AFP-NH Celebrates House Passage of Open Enrollment Bill

Concord, NH— Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire celebrates the passage of House Bill 741, a significant legislative achievement that empowers parents and enhances educational freedom across the state. This landmark bill allows parents to enroll their children in any public school in New Hampshire, regardless of their residential district, thereby broadening access to quality education and fostering a more dynamic and responsive public school system.

AFP-NH Deputy State Director Sarah Scott released the following statement:

“Today marks a pivotal moment for education in New Hampshire. The passage of HB 741 underscores our state’s commitment to putting students and families first, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in an environment that best suits their individual needs. HB 741 removes barriers to education and gives families the flexibility to choose the environment where their child can succeed.
