LINCOLN, NE — Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today announced it has endorsed State Senator Rob Dover, Tony Sorrentino, and Tanya Storer for the general election on November 5, 2024.
These candidates will have the full support of the organization’s grassroots activist network, who will canvass their districts to make sure Nebraskans have these outstanding leaders representing them next year.
AFP-NE State Director, John Gage, gave the following statement:
“It’s clear after this year that we need state legislators who will fight for the taxpayer’s best interests and restore fiscal sanity to the state government. We’re excited to back Dover, Sorrentino, and Storer, who will get to work building a better Nebraska.
“Next year, we have the opportunity to deliver true tax reform and continue trimming government, so that Nebraska can become the best state to raise a family, grow a business, and go to school.”
Sen. Rob Dover (SD-19) is a trusted leader on fiscal issues who and has been a key partner in fighting for property tax reform for hardworking Nebraskans. In his second term, Dover will continue working to cut government spending and deliver even more property tax relief for Nebraskans.
Tony Sorrentino (SD-39), a CPA with experience in the health insurance industry, will be a valuable ally for AFP-NE in making health care affordable for all Nebraskans by helping cut government barriers to access. He is a principled conservative who is committed to reigning in government regulations, cutting taxes, and expanding education freedom.
Tanya Storer (SD-43) is ready to join the fight to bring transformative property tax relief for Nebraskans. She has a strong track record of working to lower taxes and ensuring fiscal responsibility during her time as a Cherry County Commissioner that will make her an outstanding senator. Tanya is committed to championing our Nebraska values and defending our constitutional freedoms as senator.
