JACKSON, MS – Americans For Prosperity – Mississippi (AFP-MS) is launching a new mail campaign urging Mississippians to reach out to their legislators and ask them to support the Trump Administration’s policies and embrace Education Freedom in Mississippi.
AFP-MS’s mail campaign urges state senators to support Education Savings Accounts and provide the opportunity for parents to have more control over their child’s education.
AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown released the following statement:
“Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana have all passed bills that include education savings accounts. Mississippians elected President Trump partly because of his education platform, but our state government’s policies are lagging behind. Parents should be in complete control of their children’s education experience. Through this mail campaign, AFP-MS urges the Mississippi Senate to recognize that this issue is important to families in their districts.”
