AFP-MS Calls on Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann To Advance Educational Savings Accounts in Mississippi

Jackson, MS – Americans for Prosperity–Mississippi (AFP-MS) released the following statement from AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown urging Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hosemann to support the expansion of educational savings accounts.

“Across Mississippi, families are asking for greater control over how and where their children learn. Parents know that a one-size-fits-all system does not meet the needs of every student. As a result, we are calling on Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann and the Senate to make education savings accounts a top priority this session.

“These accounts will empower parents with real options and help ensure every child has access to an education that best fits their individual needs. As presiding officer of the Senate, Lt. Governor Hosemann can lead the way in giving Mississippi families the freedom they deserve.”
