LANSING, MI – This week, Americans for Prosperity–Michigan (AFP-MI) wrapped up a series of Protect Prosperity “thank you” events across the state recognizing members of Michigan’s congressional delegation who supported the Working Families Tax Cuts.
Over the past several weeks, AFP-MI activists and community members joined together to show appreciation for leaders who voted to give Michigan families and job creators much-needed tax relief and stronger economic opportunity.
AFP-MI State Director Tim Golding issued the following statement:
“Michigan families are feeling the squeeze of higher prices and economic uncertainty. Thanks to the leadership of our congressional delegation, working families are getting meaningful tax relief that will help them keep more of what they earn. These events were about saying thank you to lawmakers who are putting people first and protecting prosperity for all Michiganders.”

Each event highlighted how the Working Families Tax Cuts will reduce the burden on Michigan taxpayers, allow businesses to invest and grow, and strengthen the state’s long-term competitiveness. AFP-MI will continue to build on this momentum, working alongside families, job creators, and policymakers to advance solutions that grow the economy and expand opportunity across the Great Lakes State.
