AFP Leads Coalition Urging Senate to Reject NLRB Nomination
ARLINGTON, VA— Today, Americans for Prosperity and a coalition of conservative organizations sent a letter urging the Senate to reject the re-nomination of Lauren McFarran to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Congress should not give the departing administration an opportunity to hamstring President Trump’s work putting American workers first.
The letter details how McFarran’s destructive tenure during the Biden-Harris Administration has harmed American workers, advancing a labor law regime that the American people decisively rejected in last month’s election. The coalition is urging Senators to allow President Trump and the duly elected incoming Senate to appoint the next Chair and members of the NLRB.

“From enabling intimidation by union organizers to making it harder for freelancers to earn a living, Ms. McFerran has consistently sided with special interests over American workers. We strongly urge the Senate not to give the outgoing Biden-Harris administration a chance to entrench its failed policies deep into President Trump’s term by reconfirming Ms. McFerran. The American people have spoken and rejected Ms. McFerran’s failed policies – President Trump should decide who will fill that slot on the NLRB.”
