Fort Wayne, IN – Americans for Prosperity–Indiana (AFP-IN) announced today the launch of a new digital advertising campaign that will run through Election Day, highlighting the real impact of the Northwest Allen County Schools $12 million operating referendum and urging voters to say no to higher property taxes.
The ads, which will appear across multiple digital platforms, are part of AFP-IN’s broader effort to inform voters about the long-term consequences of the proposed tax hike and to promote sustainable reforms that put students first without placing additional strain on working families.
AFP-IN’s digital campaign builds on weeks of grassroots engagement, including door-to-door conversations, phone calls, and community outreach led by local volunteers who are committed to keeping Hoosiers informed.
Tyler Turnwald, AFP-IN Grassroots Engagement Director, released the following statement:
“Hoosier families are already stretched thin by rising costs and higher taxes. This referendum asks them to dig even deeper at a time when many are just trying to make ends meet. Through these ads, we’re making sure voters have the facts before they head to the polls.
“Instead of asking families to shoulder more financial burden, local leaders should focus on real solutions that prioritize students and ensure every taxpayer dollar goes toward the classroom—not bureaucracy.”
Through this digital effort and sustained citizen-led outreach, AFP-IN continues to stand with Indiana families, promoting policies that protect taxpayers, strengthen education, and create greater opportunity across the state.
