AFP-GA Statement on State Legislature’s Tax Reform Efforts

Atlanta, GA – Americans for Prosperity-Georgia (AFP-GA) State Director Tony West released the following statement on the tax reform efforts currently under consideration by the Georgia legislature:

“Many Georgia families feel like they’re being left behind, and the Georgia legislature has the opportunity to take up transformational legislation that will provide needed tax relief for everyday Georgians. Our state tax policy must continue to attract Fortune 500 and small businesses to the state and boost our regional competitiveness. We urge the Georgia legislature to send legislation to Governor Kemp’s desk that utilizes budget surpluses and revenue deferred to special interests towards tax relief that benefits all Georgians equally.”
