Press: Americans for Prosperity to Host First Indiana Republican Senate Primary Debate 2/20

Republican Candidates vying for seat held by Senator Joe Donnelly to discuss issues related to the economy

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Americans for Prosperity-Indiana (AFP-IN), the state’s leading free-market grassroots organization, today announced it will host the first Indiana Republican Senate Primary Debate of the year on Tuesday, February 20th, in downtown Indianapolis at Emmis Communications. The debate will be moderated by WIBC radio host Tony Katz. The Republican candidates are vying for the U.S. Senate seat current held by Senator Joe Donnelly, who was first elected in 2012.

The following candidates have accepted AFP-IN’s invitation: Former state representative Mike Braun, Andrew Horning, Mark Hurt, U.S. Representative Luke Messer, U.S. Representative Todd Rokita, and Andrew Takami. Only those still running at the time of the debate will be participating.

The debate will focus on the following issues: healthcare, taxes & spending, and jobs & the economy.
