AFP-South Carolina Congratulates Slate of Endorsed State Legislative Candidates on Election Night Victory
AFP-SC Sees 18 Endorsed Candidates Win General Election After Nearly 400,000 Overall Voter Outreach Contacts
COLUMBIA, SC—As the state’s only permanent grassroots ground game, Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) was thrilled to see 18 endorsed candidates win their elections. In addition, AFP-SC knocked on 60,000 doors for Everett Stubbs (SD-17) and James Daniel “JD” Chaplin (SD-29) where the races are too close to call and are now being recounted.
Year round, AFP-SC is mobilized throughout the Palmetto State and after determining state races the organization could make a difference in, more than 400,000 overall voter outreach contacts were made for principled leaders.
AFP-SC State Director, Matt Humm, released the following statement:

We are thrilled to come alongside these new and returning leaders to advance good policies that flatten the tax code, empower parents and students, increase competition and reduce regulations, and unleash the free market for health care. We believe each of these principled leaders are ready to carry out the voices of South Carolinians in office and deliver a freer future for our great state—moving past the economic pain of high inflation and removing barriers.”
