AFP Celebrates House Passage of Republican Tax Bill
WASHINGTON, DC—Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1, the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” Act. The tax bill permanently enshrines the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) in the tax code, unleashes American energy, and provides for increased border security. Americans for Prosperity (AFP) has been highly supportive of the bill throughout the legislative process as it made its way through the House.
AFP Chief Government Affairs Officer Brent Gardner applauded House Leadership on the bill’s passage:
