A recent survey carried out by Americans for Prosperity-Oklahoma (AFP-OK) and Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) shows an overwhelming amount of Oklahomans support cutting the state income tax and gradually eliminating the tax entirely.
In a poll conducted by WPA Intelligence (WPAi), 65% of voters support cutting the income tax. The survey also shows that 67% of Oklahoma voters support completely eliminating the state’s income tax.
Americans for Prosperity-Oklahoma State director John Tidwell made the following statement:
“Governor Stitt and the Oklahoma Legislature have an opportunity to create transformational change in our tax system that will attract more businesses to our state, grow the economy, and give families some relief from the high inflation of the Biden presidency.
“Bidenomics has had a punishing effect on every single Oklahoman, so it’s no surprise that Oklahomans want state policymakers to come to their aid by cutting taxes.”
