Wichita, KS–In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity-Kansas (AFP-KS) held several events in Garden City, Liberal, and Dodge City last Thursday and Friday to discuss the economic challenges many Kansans are faced with as a result of Bidenomics and the current administration’s failed economic policies.
In addition to these events, AFP-KS was in Wichita on Friday supporting local grocery shoppers at Barney’s Pharmacy and Grocery with $60 worth of groceries to account for the average increase in grocery prices since President Biden took office (over 20%).
AFP-KS was joined by Senate President Ty Masterson and Speaker of the House Dan Hawkins in Garden City, Liberal, and Dodge City.
Elizabeth Patton, AFP-KS State Director, issued the following statement:
“Engaging and serving the Kansas community is one of our greatest pleasures. These events serve to educate and relieve the many Kansans that are struggling to stay afloat in this economy. From Washington DC to Topeka, Biden’s inflation-causing policies and Laura Kelly’s veto of smart, responsible tax reform, Kansans have been financially burdened and deserve better. Families and communities want solutions with them in mind, not more of the same failed policies that grow government unnecessarily.”
