Columbus, OH – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Ohio (AFP-OH) released a statement on President Biden’s visit to East Palestine, Ohio.
AFP-OH State Director Donovan O’Neil said the following about President Biden’s visit:
“Joe Biden’s stop in East Palestine today for his ‘Investing in America Tour’ is a clear political stunt. It is ironic that he has chosen to begin the tour here as Ohio gas prices are spiking and inflation is taking a toll in a community negatively impacted by ‘Bidenomics’ policies.
“This is a perfect opportunity for him to meet with the Ohioans in East Palestine and see the damage his misguided policies have done. Ohioans deserve for their President to hear stories of higher prices and energy costs. He needs to take accountability for his erroneous policies by viewing the toll it takes on families struggling to make ends meet.
“The harm is done, and only continues to get worse. It is time for him to recognize the damage that record high inflation and energy costs have caused for the Buckeye state.”
