AFP-SC State Director Candace Carroll visits Capitol Hill ahead of SC bus stops
COLUMBIA, SC — Americans for Prosperity – South Carolina (AFP-SC) State Director Candace Carroll was on Capitol Hill last week meeting with South Carolina lawmakers as the “True Cost of Washington” bus tour kicks off.
AFP met with lawmakers on the cost of inflation as part of its nationwide bus tour, which includes stops in South Carolina beginning next week. Next Monday, AFP-SC will be dropping the price of gas back to $2.38 at Phoenix Mart, in Little River, SC.
“Inflation is skyrocketing, leaving South Carolina families literally paying the price for Washington’s out-of-control spending and overregulation,” said Carroll. “I enjoyed productive and frank conversations with our federal lawmakers last week, and look forward to keeping the pressure on with events across South Carolina throughout the summer. Across the country, the True Cost Campaign aims to spotlight the impact of inflation and provide a little relief to taxpayers feeling the squeeze at the gas pump and the grocery store.”
