AFP-MS State Director Starla Brown visits Capitol Hill ahead of MS events
JACKSON, MS — Americans for Prosperity – Mississippi (AFP-MS) State Director Starla Brown was on Capitol Hill last week meeting with Mississippi lawmakers as the “True Cost of Washington” bus tour kicks off.
AFP met with lawmakers on the cost of inflation as part of its nationwide bus tour, which includes events in Mississippi later this month.
“Life is costing Mississippians almost $500 more a month thanks to skyrocketing inflation,” said Brown. “I appreciated the chance to meet with Mississippi lawmakers to express concerns about bad energy policies have contributed to the deep pain families are feeling when filling up their cars. Later this month I look forward to giving Mississippians a break at the gas pump and sharing how policies in the True Cost Campaign will build a stronger economy that works for all.”
