Billy Easley II

Billy Easley is Americans for Prosperity’s senior policy analyst for technology and innovation. He directs state and federal policy work on digital speech, digital privacy, government surveillance, and related issues while serving as a spokesperson for the organization.

Prior to joining Americans for Prosperity, Billy worked for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and later as Senator Rand Paul’s legal counsel for technology and criminal justice policy. He is a native of Texas and a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. Billy and his husband currently reside in Washington, D.C
