Americans for Prosperity-Utah Takes to Capitol Hill to Press Lawmakers for Inflation Solutions

SALT LAKE CITY, UT—This week Americans for Prosperity-Utah staff to took to Capitol Hill to meet with the Utah federal delegation to discuss solutions to rampant inflation choking Utah families.

In the meetings, AFP proposed solutions in listed their 2022 federal agenda, “Empowering People, Emerging Stronger,” and their “True Cost of Washington” campaign.

To recap the meetings, Heather Andrews, state director for Americans for Prosperity-Utah, released the following statement:

“We are grateful to the legislators who met with us this week to strategize around this pressing issue and the real pain it is causing for Utahns. AFP-UT is committed to working hand-in-hand with the state and federal legislators to see these efforts through and mitigate the damage caused by Washington’s spending spree.”

AFP-UT staff met with Congressman Blake Moore, Congressman Chris Stewart, Congressman John Curtis, Congressman Burgess Owens, Senator Mike Lee, and Senator Mitt Romney.
