DALLAS, TX—Americans for Prosperity-Texas (AFP-TX) today congratulated Judge Amy Coney Barrett on her confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court. Commending its grassroots activists for their tireless work to ensure Judge Barrett’s confirmation, AFP-TX joined the full-scale nationwide campaign to encourage Senators Cornyn and Cruz to vote “yes” ahead of today’s vote in the U.S. Senate. Following the confirmation, AFP-TX will now launch newspaper and digital advertisements thanking Senators Cornyn and Cruz for their support of Barrett.
AFP-TX Deputy State Director Mack Morris issued the following statement:
“Amy Coney Barrett is a well-qualified judge who will serve Texans well on the U.S. Supreme Court by applying the law as written and not legislating from the bench. We applaud Senators Cornyn and Cruz for their continued support of a constitutionalist nominee. Our activists are excited to see their efforts come to fruition with Judge Barrett’s confirmation.”

AFP-TX Joins Nationwide, Full Scale Campaign to Confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett
Americans for Prosperity launched a full-scale national campaign to mobilize its permanent grassroots infrastructure and empower its activists to support Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the high court.
The national campaign, which focused on Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia, launched just minutes after President Trump nominated Judge Barrett on Sep. 26 and included a robust mix of targeted direct-mail, layered digital ads, and other tactics to supplement activists’ efforts across the country.
AFP also set up a unique UniteForBarrett.com web page that empowered activists to share their support of Judge Barrett with their senators, and the group’s state leaders have taken the conversation directly to the grassroots by talking to members of their communities, writing op-eds in local newspapers, and hitting the airwaves. The group has also hosted several live videoconferences for the grassroots to hear directly from their senators and state attorneys general, and spearheaded a coalition letter of more than 200 leaders from national and state groups urging senators to confirm Judge Barrett.
AFP activists sent or made more than 750,000 letters and phone calls to their senators urging them to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
