Americans for Prosperity Statement on Franklin Circuit Court Ruling Against Educational Freedom in Kentucky

FRANKFORT, KY — Americans for Prosperity – Kentucky (AFP-KY) issued a statement today on the Franklin Circuit Court ruling against educational freedom and choice in Kentucky.

AFP-KY State Director Michael Conway released the following statement:

“Educational freedom and opportunity finally became a reality in Kentucky this year with the passage of HB 563 and Educational Opportunity Accounts. The ruling issued by the Franklin Circuit Court blocking Kentucky’s educational opportunity accounts is disappointing. AFP-KY activist community will continue to fight for educational freedom in Kentucky and will not rest until all families and children in the state have the opportunity to choose the educational options that best fit their needs, regardless of zip code.”
