LINCOLN, Neb. – Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska (AFP-NE) today released a statement congratulating Nebraska’s newly elected Governor, Jim Pillen. Through a variety of tactics, including door to door canvassing and phone calls, the grassroots group made over 20,000 voter contacts in support of Pillen.
“Our activists are excited to congratulate Governor-Elect Jim Pillen on his victory,” said Jessica Shelburn, AFP-NE State Director. “We are confident he will continue to lead Nebraska forward by championing commonsense policy solutions to grow our economy, reduce the burden on Nebraska taxpayers, and expand much needed educational opportunities for our children. We applaud our grassroots activists for their tireless efforts that helped elect a principled policy leader who will lead our state to greater prosperity.”
