AFP-LA Reveals Sen. Gatti as Third Member of Taker’s Dozen

BATON ROUGE, La. – Americans for Prosperity-Louisiana (AFP-LA) revealed the third member of the Taker’s Dozen Thursday: Sen. Ryan Gatti. The group unveiled the most recent member just hours before the Senate plans to convene to debate a tax package concocted in the Senate Ways and Means Committee that would implement a higher sales tax rate and increase certain taxes on businesses.

“While only in office for a short amount of time, Sen. Gatti’s voting record has been long on bad decisions,” said AFP-LA State Director John Kay. “He’s voted to line the pockets of hollywood elites with taxpayer dollars, voted for an irresponsible budget last year, and voted to raise taxes on Louisianans and businesses. We hope when push comes to shove during a very critical vote today, he’ll side with his constituents instead of asking them to pony up more money.”
