AFP-Colorado Condemns Vote Violating TABOR

Denver, CO – Americans for Prosperity (AFP) – Colorado released a statement following the Senate passage of SB 88, a bill that violates the state’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR).

“It’s disappointing to see legislation that is a clear violation of TABOR pass the Colorado Senate,” said AFP-Colorado State Director Jesse Mallory.

“Since we are committed to recognizing members of the General Assembly that vote for policies that promote economic freedom, we will be launching a campaign to thank those legislators that honored the state constitution and voted against Senate Bill 88. It’s important their constituents know who stood with Colorado taxpayers and who did not,” Mallory concluded.
