Benjamin Lee joined Americans for Prosperity in July of 2014, and launched the South Dakota chapter as its first State Director.  Having lived in South Dakota since 1993, Ben brings a passion for improving the lives of South Dakotans everywhere through free market principals.  He has a background in television news reporting, higher education fundraising and administration, and previously served as a staffer for U.S. Senator John Thune.

Ben and his wife, Corinne, have been married since 1997.  They reside in Sioux Falls, SD, with their three children: Isaiah, Elena, and Nadia.  Ben enjoys running, coaching soccer, reading, volunteering at his church, and following Nebraska Cornhuskers football.
