CHARLESTON, W.V.a.- Americans for Prosperity West Virginia (AFP-WV) today endorsed candidates in over twenty state legislative districts. As a proven difference maker in competitive elections, AFP-WV is doubling down on endorsing principled policy champions in key races who want to rapidly enact proven solutions to transform the Mountain State.
AFP-WV State Director Jason Huffman released the following statement:
“West Virginia voters have been consistently clear: they expect lawmakers to swiftly enact bold policy solutions that will make our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family. As always, we will engage our signature grassroots approach in a robust effort to strongly stand behind principled policy champions who have proven they intend to meet that mandate.
“At the same time, some politicians have chosen to attack core conservative principles at a time when West Virginians can least afford it. Their efforts to undermine school choice, put corporate welfare and wasteful spending over tax relief for working families, and allow government to run our health care system only take our state backwards. When elected officials kowtow to special interests and backslide into the failed tax-and-spend policies of the past, it is incumbent upon grassroots leaders to find and support candidates who will stand up to defend our shared West Virginia values.”
