Daniel Tillson

Dan Tillson is a Government Affairs Liaison at Americans for Prosperity, seeking to empower the public through policies that advance economic freedom. He specializes in immigration and recently authored AFP’s Four Pillars of Border Security and Visa Reform.

Previously, Dan worked for eight years on Capitol Hill serving Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi and Congressman Chris Smith of New Jersey.

Before arriving on the Hill, he was the Executive Director at the Fairfax County, VA GOP and spearheaded the “Sponsoring the American Dream” project that fostered new connections between conservative leaders and disadvantaged members of the community.  At the same time, he was an appointed board member for his county’s Adult and Community Education initiative.
