The leadup to the 2011 Defending The American Dream Summit has meant a lot of busy days and nights for AFP-Oklahoma. This week, it meant updating the good folks of southern Oklahoma about the latest happenings in the national and state governments.

We were honored to be hosted by the Marshall Co. GOP. In the past, this part of the state hasn't been friendly to the causes of less government and lower taxes, but things are changing across the state and the tide is turning in towns like Madill, where State Director Stuart Jolly filled in a loyal crowd on just what is taking place in our government.

We'd like to thank Kylie Green and the Marshall Co. GOP for hosting us. And thanks to the BBQ Pit for a truly awesome BBQ Beef Sandwich! If you're in the Marshall Co. area, check this group out and get active if you so choose.

Join AFP-Oklahoma in Madill tonight!

After many great stops in the state over the past two months, AFP-Oklahoma is taking its message of economic sensibility, personal freedom and low taxes to southern Oklahoma.

Join us tonight at 6 for the meeting of the Marshall Co. GOP in Madill. It will be held at the BBQ Pit (503 S. 1st St.).

Come out and listen to AFP-Oklahoma State Director Stuart Jolly speak about the latest on our national debt as well as an update on state affairs as well. Hope you can join us! See you there!

Lately, AFP-Oklahoma has been traveling around the state updating activists about the latest news important to you.

We've traveled from Mustang to Claremore down to Durant and sites in-between talking about the national debt problem and issues cropping up around the state. Last night, State Director Stuart Jolly was in Coweta and shared with them them just how bad things have become fiscally in this country.

If we haven't been to your area yet and you want to see what all the talk is about, you can now download AFPOK's PowerPoint presentation to read over yourself.

Click here to download the presentation and see for yourself just what is going on both in Washington and in Oklahoma.
