A stunning group greets AFPOK in Yukon!

September 29, 2011 J

The western Oklahoma City suburbs of Mustang and Yukon are definite hot spots for AFP-Oklahoma, which is why we made a visit their way this past Tuesday.

An amazing group of around 45 came out to hear from AFPOK State Director Stuart Jolly at the Canadian Co. GOP meeting, held at the beautiful Canadian Valley Tech Center.

After attending to its general business, the group welcomed Jolly to the front of the room to begin his speech.

In dynamic fashion, Jolly updated the crowd on the current economic and fiscal climate in Oklahoma and Washington, DC. This was one of our best groups yet, as there were many good questions and lots of solid comments stemming from the focus of the presentation. More and more, you can see that Oklahomans are not satisfied with the current spending and debt problems we face.

Pauls Valley a great host for AFP-Okla!

Pauls Valley was the latest site for Americans for Prosperity-Oklahoma to talk to Oklahomans about the importance of fiscal responsibility and the current state of affairs in our state and national governments.

Speaking on matters related to the nation’s current economic climate, AFP-Oklahoma State Director Stuart Jolly focused on what America needs to do to get its financial house in order.

Jolly also informed the group about the upcoming Defending The American Dream Summit in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 4-5.

Thanks so much, Claremore!

The Blue Whale wasn’t in attendance, but a strong contingent from the Rogers Co. Republican Women came out to the Northeast Technology Center in Claremore on Friday to hear from Americans for Prosperity!

Speaking on matters related to the nation’s current economic climate, AFP-Oklahoma State Director Stuart Jolly focused on what America needs to do to get its financial house in order.
“It was an honor to speak in front of such a concerned and educated crowd,” Jolly said. “It was refreshing to see so many come out and take part, as it is going to be up to normal people such as us to get this country headed in the right direction again.”

Jolly also informed the group about the upcoming Defending The American Dream Summit in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 4-5. It is shaping up to be a fantastic weekend in our nation’s capital so make plans to attend.

Join AFP-Oklahoma at Gettysburg!

September 06, 2011 J

As you know, our annual Defending the American Dream Summit is our premier event – one that is filled with great speakers, conferences and breakout sessions. But this year we’ve got a special addition for you to make the trip that much better!

If you’re like me, you’re a student of history. You realize just how important the Civil War was in the fabric of this great country. The conflict almost ripped our Union apart. But because of that fight, our nation came out stronger and set the foundation for its ascendance in the 1900s as a world power.

And the battle that turned it all – Gettysburg – was the most prominent moment of that terrible war. There’s still a lot of history in that place and we want you to see it!

That’s why AFP-Oklahoma is offering a bonus for your Summit weekend – a bus trip to Gettysburg! Only 82 miles north of DC, Gettysburg is a must-visit for any patriot with an appreciation of history.
