Control New Mexico's land is important to it's economic growth. Who will be the authority over that land? Special meeting Tuesday, September 17th is to help educate the state legislators, counties, soil and water conservation districts and other interested parties on the importance of passing legislation such as Utah's HB 148.

Here are some, perhaps surprising, statistics about New Mexico taxes and government spending. Most of these items are controlled by legislation written and passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor. It takes a few years to really see effects of the trends, because the data reflects the implementation of new policies and procedures. It is interesting to see where NM ranks among other states.
