Sterling Heights, MI — Yesterday, Americans for Prosperity–Michigan hosted an engaging discussion with Congressman John James focused on how extending the Working Family Tax Cuts will help Michigan families keep more of what they earn.
Rep. James underscored the importance of empowering hardworking families:
“Every Michigander deserves the chance to build a life of security and opportunity. These tax cuts are about giving working families breathing room and the freedom to plan for their future instead of worrying about Washington taking more of their paycheck.”
AFP-MI State Director Tim Golding highlighted how this policy aligns with AFP’s mission to make life more affordable for all Michiganders:
“We’re proud to partner with leaders like Congressman James who understand that the best way to strengthen our communities is by letting people keep more of what they earn. The Working Family Tax Cuts are a commonsense way to help families get ahead and ensure Michigan remains a great place to live and work.”
The event drew community members, local business owners, and activists eager to learn how recent tax policies affect their households and to share firsthand stories about the cost of living in Michigan.
