ICYMI: AFP-NH Hosts Panel to Separate Fact from Fear on Data Centers

Rochester, NH — In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire (AFP-NH) hosted a discussion on data centers and the role they play in the Granite State. Data centers are quickly becoming essential infrastructure for a modern economy, but public conversation about them hasn’t always kept pace with the facts.

State Rep. Tanya Donnelly and President of the Josiah Bartlett Center, Drew Cline, joined AFP-NH Deputy State Director Sarah Scott for a thoughtful discussion with Granite Staters about data center misconceptions and how the state could benefit from them.

AFP-NH Deputy State Director Sarah Scott said:

Conversations surrounding data centers are growing, and AFP-NH is getting ahead of the curve to answer questions and address misconceptions. New Hampshire has 10 data centers powering our hospitals, businesses, and daily lives, and most people don’t even know it. They are increasingly becoming the backbone of a 21st-century economy, creating jobs and powering innovation that will set our economy up for success. AFP-NH will continue to have conversations like this to make sure facts, not fear, drive the decisions that shape our state’s future.”

In case you missed it, AFP-NH Deputy State Director Sarah Scott joined Jeff Chidester on WFEA to discuss data center policy and community responses. Listen here.
