Bridgewater, NJ — On Saturday, September 26, Americans for Prosperity (AFP), Concerned Veterans for America (CVA), The LIBRE Initiative, and Jersey 1st celebrated the once-in-a-generation anniversary of America’s 250th birthday with “We the People” at TD Bank Ballpark.
Over 400 New Jerseyans came together for a fun evening featuring MLB legend Joe Girardi, Fox News’ Rachel Campos-Duffy and Guy Benson, Assemblyman Paul Kanitra, Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench, LIBRE Initiative President Daniel Garza, Jersey 1st Founder and President Rosemary Becchi, and AFP’s Ross Connolly
AFP Northeast Region Director Ross Connolly and Jersey 1st Founder and President, Rosemary Becchi, said the following:
“AFP’s One Small Step Initiative brings together Americans to highlight the spirit that has made America exceptional for 250 years, and we saw that spirit on full display Saturday. America was built on the ideals of freedom, self-determination, and the belief that ordinary people have the power to shape their own future. We were honored to have a great lineup of speakers share their ‘one small step,’ and even more honored to see so many New Jerseyans turn out to celebrate alongside us. It was a celebration of where we’ve been, and an inspiration for where we’re going.”
“We’re calling on every New Jerseyan who joined us on Saturday to take their own next step: get involved with AFP and Jersey 1st, and join us in the work of making New Jersey a freer, more prosperous place for generations to come.”
