Phoenix, AZ – This week, Americans for Prosperity–Arizona (AFP-AZ) activists took action to urge Arizona’s U.S. Senators, Ruben Gallego and Mark Kelly, to pass the SPEED Act and deliver real permitting reform that allows America to build faster, strengthen energy reliability, and create jobs.
Grassroots activists gathered to send a clear message: Arizonans cannot afford more federal delays that stall critical infrastructure, drive up costs, and threaten energy affordability and reliability.
Stephen Shadegg, AFP-AZ State Director, issued the following statement:
“Arizona has a need for speed. Ruben Gallego and Mark Kelly have an opportunity right now to help fix Washington’s broken permitting system and move critical projects forward. The SPEED Act is a commonsense solution to lower costs, strengthen our energy future, and get results for Arizona families and businesses. Arizonans are speaking up because they want action, not excuses, and they want it now.”
AFP-Arizona continues to call on the U.S. Senate to pass the SPEED Act and deliver the reforms needed to unlock American energy, strengthen national security, and keep costs down for Arizona families.
