EDUCATION

AFP-Virginia State Director Tim Parrish issued the following statement:

With crossover behind us, AFP-Virginia’s activists across the Commonwealth are pleased with the progress made on key issues like unleashing Virginia’s energy potential and expanding COPN reform. Virginians demand results, and much hard-fought progress has been made thus far in the session.

“But there is more work to be done. As we head into the final stretch of session, AFP-Virginia stands ready to work alongside lawmakers and Governor Youngkin to pass reforms like expanding telehealth in the Commonwealth and broadening educational resources that better fit the unique needs of Virginia’s students. We will fight to protect hard-won tax cuts and further expand the standard deduction.”
