Boston, Massachusetts — As Governor Andy Beshear visits Boston to raise his national profile, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is reminding taxpayers and policymakers that the challenges facing states like Massachusetts and Kentucky are not solved by bigger government, higher spending, or more bureaucracy.
AFP Northeast Region Director Ross Connolly said:
“As Governor Andy Beshear visits Boston, he is stepping into a state where families and businesses are already living under the consequences of high-cost, government-heavy policymaking. Taking affordability advice from him would be like taking navigation guidance from the captain of the Titanic. Governor Beshear’s so-called solutions amount to more of the same, doubling down on the very policies driving Bay Staters to states like Florida and New Hampshire.”
