Honolulu, Hawaii — Today, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) released the following statement following Governor Josh Green’s State of the State Address.

AFP Western Region Director Heather Andrews said:

“Governor Green’s State of the State touched on many big-picture goals, but the people of Hawaii are waiting for results that show up in their daily lives, especially in rural areas. From housing to energy prices, affordability continues to worsen.

“We urge the Governor and legislators to prioritize practical reforms that focus on solutions that address Hawaii’s affordability challenges to make the state the best place to work, live, and thrive.”
