Americans for Prosperity – Georgia Issues Statement on the Start of the 2024 General Assembly Regular Session

ATLANTA, GA – Today, following the start of the 2024 Georgia General Assembly, Americans for Prosperity – Georgia (AFP-GA) is urging lawmakers to champion pivotal policy reforms that will make Georgia the best place to live, work, and raise a family, including a full repeal of Certificate of Need laws and passing education reform that will benefit all students.

AFP-GA State Director Tony West released the following statement:

“As we kick off the 2024 General Assembly, we are excited to continue building off our momentum from the last legislative session and our grassroots engagement efforts.

“There are a number of important legislative policy issues that will be at the forefront of AFP-GA’s efforts this session. From a full repeal of our state’s burdensome Certificate of Need laws to improving education for students, AFP-GA will continue to be an influential voice that encourages lawmakers to pass legislation that enables all Georgians to reignite their American dream.”
