DENVER, CO — Upon the announcement that the IRS may soon tax TABOR refunds, Americans for Prosperity-Colorado State Director Jesse Mallory released the following statement:
“We’re happy to see Colorado’s elected officials come out against the IRS taxing TABOR refunds. Coloradans already paid taxes to receive these refunds and any additional taxation is clear government overreach.
“We invite these lawmakers to take their support of TABOR further by joining Americans for Prosperity Colorado Issue Committee in opposing Proposition HH and saving TABOR refunds.”
