AFP-Pennsylvania Releases Mid-Session Scorecard, Launches Accountability Campaign

Feb 24, 2026 by AFP

HARRISBURG, PA – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Pennsylvania (AFP-PA) released its mid-session legislative scorecard and an accountability campaign targeting lawmakers with poor voting records as they prepare to return for the second half of the 209th General Assembly.

The scorecard shows how each member of the state House and Senate voted on bills that received AFP “key vote alerts” based on alignment with AFP-PA’s legislative agenda.

AFP-PA’s new “Resolve” campaign aims to hold accountable the lawmakers who consistently voted against these key bills through door-to-door engagement with their constituents and targeted mail and digital advertisements to highlight their voting records.

The accountability campaign will start by targeting the following legislators:

  • James Malone (SD 36)
  • Rob Matzie (LD 16)
  • Frank Burns (LD 72)
  • Jim Haddock (LD 118)

Emily Greene Brey, AFP-PA State Director, released the following statement:

“Our 2026 scorecard provides the transparency that Pennsylvanians deserve on which members voted for policies to expand opportunity and prosperity in the Keystone State and who stood in the way. We’re not just tracking votes – we’re holding lawmakers accountable to the people who elected them in real time.

“With so many opportunities to pass transformative legislation this year, from tackling our housing crisis to unleashing energy abundance, we need every Pennsylvania lawmaker to know that their actions have consequences.”
