AFP-Ohio Endorses Larry Kidd for State House

COLUMBUS, OH – Today, Americans for Prosperity-Ohio (AFP-OH) endorsed businessman Larry Kidd for the Ohio House of Representatives (HD-93) ahead of his primary challenge against former Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens in May.

AFP-OH will target voters across his district through door-to-door engagement and targeted mail and digital advertisements.

Tim Ross, AFP-OH Deputy State Director, gave the following statement:

“Larry Kidd is an outstanding candidate for the Ohio legislature who will get to work in Columbus on day one to deliver policy reforms that make life more affordable, unlock energy abundance and get government out of the way. His community deserves and effective voice in the capitol, not a big government career politician.

“As a small business owner, Kidd truly understands how tax increases and too many regulations can hinder economic growth, especially in rural communities. Ohio needs bold leaders like Kidd in the state legislature to fight for a zero-percent income tax and hold unelected bureaucrats accountable to the people they serve.

“Kidd will have the full support of Ohio’s largest grassroots organization and our army of activists who will be engaging with voters in his district every day to ensure they have a champion for limited government representing them in the state House next year.”
