AFP-NH Applauds Trump Administration Empowering Communities and Parents Through Education Freedom
Manchester, New Hampshire—Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire today applauded the decision by the Trump Administration to empower states to lead on education by greatly reducing the size and scope of the Department of Education.
Deputy State Director for AFP-NH Sarah Scott issued the following statement:
“For years, Granite State families have fought to take control of their children’s education by creating Education Freedom Accounts (EFAs). This move by the Trump Administration is a refreshing change that puts wind in our sails as we continue the fight to make EFA’s universal in New Hampshire.
By empowering parents and students through universal education freedom, the President is restoring decision-making to families—and Concord lawmakers should do the same. We look forward to seeing renewed urgency in the legislature as bills to expand education freedom make their way through the House and Senate.”
