JEFFERSON CITY, MO- Americans for Prosperity Missouri (AFP-MO) applauded over 50 lawmakers that have signed on in support of the Missouri version of the REINS Act, in a strong show of momentum in Jefferson City. Last year, the Missouri REINS Act was the most cosponsored piece of legislation in the entire Missouri House. This year, with nearly 50 cosponsors, it is poised to do so for the second time in a row.
Gary Hollis, AFP-MO State Director, released the following statement:
“The REINS Act will restore regulatory balance back to citizen-elected representatives, and away from faceless unelected bureaucrats. We are excited to see our legislators committed to unleashing Missouri from burdensome regulations and towards a business-friendly environment that champions entrepreneurship, accountability, and growth. With more than 50 legislators backing the Missouri REINS Act, combined with movement in the Senate, momentum and action is on our side against bureaucratic structures that have gripped the Show-Me State for far too long.”
