Americans for Prosperity Highlights Another Example of Health Care Law’s Impact

PARKER – Americans for Prosperity, is asking Senator Udall to explain how he is going to help the employees of a Denver-based company, that is likely to cancel their health insurance benefits. A recent Denver Post article highlights the employees of Centennial Container, who may be the latest Coloradan’s to lose their health coverage, due to ObamaCare. Their employer is worried that the cost of health insurance will grow too much, as a result of ObamaCare’s requirements.

“Senator Udall should pay closer attention to the impact ObamaCare is having on constituents like the workers at Centennial Container,” said Dustin Zvonek, Colorado State Director of Americans for Prosperity. “Right now, Senator Udall is circling the wagons to support a clearly broken law and telling us he would vote for it again. In the meantime, the real-world consequences of the law continue to unfold and his constituents are paying the price. The employees at Centennial Container, and all Coloradan’s, deserve to know why their Senator continues to turn a blind-eye towards the failures of ObamaCare.”

Americans for Prosperity – Colorado’s new television ad draws attention to the 335,000 Coloradan’s whose health insurance has been cancelled due to ObamaCare and quotes Senator Udall saying he would vote for the law again.

“Senator Udall’s unrelenting support for the failed health care law demonstrates just how out of touch he is with Coloradan’s, who according to a recent poll, disapprove of ObamaCare by nearly a 2 to 1 margin,” concluded Zvonek.
