Major Air Buy Features Hard-Hitting Ad Explains ObamaCare is about People, Not Politics

DENVER – Americans for Prosperity – Colorado today announced a major new TV ad buy putting pressure on Senator Mark Udall to pay attention to the impact of ObamaCare on Coloradans. The TV ad features a woman listing the undisputed facts about how ObamaCare has resulted in lost health coverage, increased premiums, and lost access to doctors.

“The consequences of ObamaCare are clear: Coloradans and taxpayers across the country have had their policies cancelled, they are facing rising premiums, and losing access to their doctors despite promises to the contrary,” explained Dustin Zvonek, Colorado state director of Americans for Prosperity. “Senator Udall needs to get out of Washington, DC long enough to see that ObamaCare is truly harming real Coloradans, instead of continuing to double down on this disastrous policy.”

Recent numbers from the Division of Insurance indicate that over 330,000 Coloradans have had their policies cancelled while only 85,000 have enrolled through the state’s new health exchange.

Americans for Prosperity’s new ad will air statewide and is part of a nationwide effort to keep up grassroots pressure on Congress to oppose ObamaCare.
