"CLEAN TRANSPORTATION STANDARD" = INCREASED COST OF LIVING
The Democrat-controlled legislature is proposing a new fee that will make Minnesota's fuel costs the most extreme and most expensive in the country - surpassing even states like California, Oregon, and Washington.
This proposal has been labelled the "Clean Transportation Standard" or CTS and would not only raise gas prices for all Minnesota residents but would also impact the costs of all goods and services - increasing costs to be adjusted for this unnecessary inflation.
WHAT IS THE "CLEAN TRANSPORTATION STANDARD"?
The "Clean Transportation Standard" or CTS could lead to an extra $0.45 - $1.00 fee per gallon, on top of the increased gas tax.
This cost increase would equate to up to $686 million to $3.42 billion per year in increased fuel costs for Minnesotans.
"This is an economic hardship for all Minnesotans. This fee will not only impact everyone at the gas pumps, but will reflect in the costs of goods and services for all."
